Woot Woot! A pho super close to where I live! Time to get pho-at!
Greeted by a lovely lady, we sat down and were warmed up with a delicious cup of tea. We were so intrigued by the taste we had to ask what flavoured tea it was - Pandan Leaves! It has a lovely tea taste that has hints that remind me of rice and coconut. She told us it is specially imported just for their restaurant. I would come back just for the tea! It's THAT delicious ;)
The interior is very nice with its laminate wood floors, black leather booths, and a fresh coat of green paint.
My boyfriend and I shared a bowl of House Special Pho ($10). The noodles were a little soft and not as chewy as I'd like. The broth had a lot of salty and sweet tastes, but nothing too rich in depth. The meat were tender and good. The meatballs didn't taste like beef, maybe they were chicken or pork? The bowl was of average size, I wish it were a little more substantial for $10. Regardless, the pho was acceptable.
We really enjoyed the two Banh Mi we ordered. The Grilled Lemongrass Chicken was tender and moist but I wish it had a little more sauce to it. The Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chop was really well done with its tenderness and lots of lemongrass flavour. The pickled carrots, radish and cucumber were fresh and crunchy. The bread was warm and soft on the inside and crusty on the outside. I would definitely come back for the banh mi!
Overall, I think a really good start to this new pho restaurant. Since they're so close, I'm sure I'll visit again, especially to try their rice dishes. And interesting enough they have other dishes to offer other than pho like Buttered Chicken, Pad Thai, Wonton Soup and Crispy Noodles! So come down and try all the possibilities in this multi-cultural foodie experience! -

A few minutes drive from Hugh Boyd Soccer Fields, we came here to grab a quick bite in between games. Service was friendly and quick. The place is quite small and intimate.
The pho broth is pretty good, clearer tasting. Pieces are quite small and lacking. The pad thai was bland. It's basically just stir fry noodles with chicken and shrimp. Although the chicken was pretty good.
Overall, the food was only ok. Especially for what they charge. And they don't give as much stuff as other pho places around Richmond. Value is definitely not there. -

I go to this pho restaurant because for me the location is after convenient to get to in Terra Nova Richmond which I don't think has ever had a pho place before. The broth is not the best but good enough . Most of the dishes and Pho bowls are $10. Do note They only take cash or debit . The service is friendly and we received our noodles in good time. I tried the fusion curry beef Noodle soup bowl and I liked it but it has a spicy kick to it . I would go here again if I was in the area and needed a bite to eat

I found this little bug in my bowl right after it was served. The funny thing is the waitress, after she checked and kind of squeezed the little bug, she said this is a just a chilly!!! How could it be chilly with legs and tentacles? And the most ridiculous thing is that she asked me if I want it redo or cancel. I said cancel please! And when the bill comes to me, it is still charged and she explained that she waived the drink. What?! The attitude is really rude and there is no any apologies at all!!!

I ordered the deep fried wonton and lemon grass chicken pho. The meat in both these dishes were undercooked! I didn't even realize with the deep fried wonton until after I had one or two. I opened it up and the meat was still pink!!!! Definitely not impressed. The pho also barely came with any cilantro, onions, the usual veggies and no additional sauces. They took a very long time to prepare my food so I expected it to be at least cooked thoroughly. I'm just hoping I don't end up sick after this, definitely will not be ordering from this establishment again. Horrible!
